Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, Adjunct, In-Res) - Psychiatry and Substanc

The Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) in the Division of Health Sciences at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. SSPPS (http://pharmacy.ucsd.edu) is seeking outstanding applicants for a non-tenure track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with clinical expertise in psychiatry/substance use disorders. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both students and residents at the didactic and experiential levels. The candidate will also engage in clinical practice and scholarly activities.

Applicants must have a Pharm.D. Degree, should have completed postgraduate residency or fellowship, have experience in clinical service and teaching, have promise for academic advancement, and be eligible for and/or already have licensure in pharmacy in the State of California.

Board certification in psychiatric pharmacy (BCPP) or specialized residency training/fellowship is desirable. Strong clinical service, grant funding and proven teaching experience are highly valued. Candidates with an outstanding record of scholarly achievement, demonstrated by publications and other research products are highly desirable.

Salary: Salary, academic series, and appointment level will be commensurate with background and experience of the successful candidate and will be based upon established UC salary scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
