UCLA is currently seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of Regional Director, Northern California & Pacific Northwest.

The Regional Director, who will reside and work in Northern California, is responsible for developing and overseeing strategies and tactics to identify, cultivate and solicit prospective Chancellor's Associates (CA) donors in the Northern California and Pacific Northwest region. In conjunction with the Senior Director of Regional Giving for Northern California and Pacific Northwest, this position will develop and maintain a prospect pipeline of new, renewed and upgraded donors from alumni, parents and friends. The Regional Director will create individualized solicitation plans, including direct solicitation and special event activity as part of the fundraising efforts of their designated region. In addition, this individual will develop and manage a regional volunteer committee to assist in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities as well as work collaboratively with other development units such as the Chancellor's Society and Parents fund to increase giving; develop and expand relationships and contribute to expanding the major gift pipeline.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of development experience, with an emphasis on annual giving and/or prior experience in a related field such as sales, marketing or business development. The Regional director will establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external constituents, including alumni, volunteers, academic leaders, faculty and others towards the accomplishment of fundraising goals. A persuasive communicator, the Regional Director will develop written materials for fundraising events, initiatives and programs as well as articulate the goals of the university in general and those of their designated region more specifically.
