Advancement Services is a key partner in this goal, performing vital administrative, financial and technology services to areas including Development, Alumni Affairs and Government & Community Relations.

UCLA Advancement Services is currently seeking an innovative leader with strong management skills for the position of Executive Director of Advancement Data and Project Management. The Executive Director will oversee four essential Advancement Services areas - Application Development, Project Management, Reporting & Analytics and Gift Services. These areas support all EA departments on initiatives related to our large CRM donor database and other technological processes & data systems necessary to increase advocacy and support for the university. This individual will have strong leadership experience managing large teams, an extensive technical background, and be a solutions-driven leader with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to ensure the highest level of service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in advancement/development in higher education, or leadership roles in other compliance driven institutions. With their knowledge of big data & systems architecture development and implementation, the Executive Director will evaluate challenges and new business needs to further the strategic vision of the organization while providing oversight of staff and operations to maintain deadlines. In addition, the position and will be responsible for building strong relationships with staff and cross-campus partners with the ability to effectively champion & communicate technology to both experts and laypersons alike.
