Endowed Faculty Position in Finance

SMU’s Cox School of Business invites applications for the James M Collins Chair in Finance Position # 50859 at the associate or full professor level. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field, a strong publications record in the top finance and economics journals and a national reputation for high quality research, and be able to demonstrate a record of high quality teaching. The Finance Department offers courses in the School’s BBA, MBA, MS and EMBA programs. The position will begin Fall 2020.

The Cox School is a nationally ranked business school located in Dallas, Texas, the premier business center in the US Southwest. The Finance Department has a well-respected research faculty and excellent relations with the corporate and business community, providing a unique and exciting environment for high-quality research. The School offers a collegial working environment, generous faculty support and outstanding facilities. The DFW Metroplex has a relatively low cost of living as well as myriad cultural and recreational activities.
