Postdoctoral Associate in Biomedical Engineering

The VandeVord Laboratory of Traumatic Nerve Technologies (TNT) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on a federally supported project related to in vivo modeling of blast brain injuries to aid in the development of new treatment paradigms. This specific project will study the possible association between repetitive exposures and the long-term pathological outcomes, such as risk of neurodegenerative diseases. The position will involve independent and team-based research projects, mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students in the VandeVord lab, assistance with proposal preparation, publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and presentation of research findings at national and international conferences.
