Constitutional Law – Job Description

Georgia State University College of Law invites applicants for the tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor in Constitutional Law to begin in the 2020-21 academic year. We seek a person who will make substantial and meaningful scholarly contributions, who will participate actively in the life of the Law School, and who will enhance the College of Law’s strong teaching reputation.

Candidates should have an interest in teaching a range of constitutional law courses, including Constitutional Law I (federalism and separation of powers), Constitutional Law II (rights and liberties), First Amendment law, and other related electives. We encourage applications from those with a wide range of perspectives and who will contribute new and innovative ways of thinking about the field.

Applicants must have a J.D. or equivalent degree and a strong academic record. In addition, applicants should demonstrate a track record or promise in teaching and research in constitutional law.
