The University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine (https://healthsciences.ucsd.edu/som) and the Department of Neurosurgery (neurosurgery.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is seeking an exceptional Neurosurgical scientist/researcher with specialized focus and experience in Brain Tumors, Glioblastoma and Glioma Stem Cells (GSC) to serve on the Neurosurgery faculty.

This position will include participation in teaching, research and projects leading to expansion of the Neurosurgical Research program.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD in Cell Biology or a related field.

Appointment will be at the Associate or Full Professor Rank based on candidate's experience and qualifications. Series will include 100% Ladder Rank or 50% Ladder Rank / 50% In-Residence with secured extramural funding.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales.
