Clarkson University in Potsdam NY invites nominations and applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A key member of the President’s leadership team, the CFO will exercise executive and administrative direction over University financial and operational programs to include the planning, development, implementation, coordination and monitoring of Business and Fiscal Programs, policies and procedures. The CFO will assume responsibilities at the university no later than September 1, 2019.

The CFO will lead the Operations Team of five direct reports: Director of Financial Aid; Director of Student Administrative Services; Director of Budgets and Planning; Controller; and Director of Legal Affairs, Compliance, & Risk Management. In addition they will direct, coordinate and administer the activities of the University Business and Financial Affairs Division to include endowment, enterprise risk management, legal affairs, compliance, purchasing, student accounts, student records, student financial aid, annual and long-term operating and capital budgets, general accounting, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
