Saint Xavier University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Graham School of Management. Saint Xavier University (SXU) is a distinguished four-year, private, Catholic institution located in a residential neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1846 and chartered in 1847, Saint Xavier holds the distinction of being Chicago’s first Catholic university.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Graham School of Management, recognized for excellence and accredited by the AACSB. The Dean provides leadership and oversight of faculty and staff in Accounting and Finance, and Management and Marketing, the two divisions within the School. The Dean is responsible for academic excellence through the assurance of sound academic processes for academic program review and development; hiring, professional development, promotion and tenure of faculty; and the implementation of the academic mission of the University by advancing academic development in accord with the University’s strategic plan and the goals of the School. The Dean also exercises oversight for the school’s financial vitality by collaborating with the Provost and Vice President for Finance and Administration/CFO, as well as leadership in other units responsible for implementing enrollment strategies and technology.

The new Dean of the Graham School of Management will hold an earned doctorate (or the equivalent professional degree) and be eligible for appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure.
