Associate position in Cardiology

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is recruiting a full-time heart failure cardiologist for a position as an Associate for a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal for a second year.  Candidates must have a MD or equivalent and be authorized to work in the U.S. 

The successful candidate must have completed a cardiology fellowship and an accredited advanced heart failure fellowship program. Successful will have had hands on experience in cardiology, specifically focusing on heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. The candidate will spend time in outpatient clinic, rounding on inpatient cardiomyopathy service, assisting in donor call and endomyocardial biopsies.
