Provost and SVP for Academic Affairs and Student Services

Broward College invites applications and referrals for the position of Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Services. The Provost will join Broward College at a pivotal moment in its history. The College formally installed its seventh president, Gregory Adam Haile, Esq. who assumed the role in July 2018. As the chief academic officer, the Provost will work closely with the President to identify and implement the academic and student support priorities of Broward College and streamline the allocation of resources that will support these priorities.

 

Located in beautiful Broward County, Florida, Broward College has three traditional campuses, a fully online campus, and seven centers, offering students access and the flexibility to take classes anywhere across the county or online. Each main campus provides a full array of student support services, and centers offer programs central to the areas of high demand. Its diverse community boasts more than 63,000 students and over 5,000 faculty and staff, represents 150 countries, and provides a wealth of cultural, ethnic, and experiential backgrounds.

As a member of the first cohort of 30 community colleges across the nation selected to implement and serve as a best practices model for the Guided Pathways Model, Broward College has organized its 145 programs in eight career pathways, which include specialized certificates, two- and four-year degrees, non-degree training, workforce readiness, and an extensive list of continuing education curricula. Broward College is part of The Florida College System (FCS), a network of twenty-eight institutions.
