Fielding Graduate University seeks a full-time faculty member for its Clinical PhD program. Faculty members supervise doctoral dissertations, teach course seminars that mix virtual and face to face interactions, and do in person seminars at two –three residential events a year. Faculty members also conduct monthly, local, in person meetings with students and serve as their advisor. Candidates who wish to be considered for this Faculty position must live in or near (or be willing to relocate to) the New York City area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

We seek scholars who are at least 3 years post PhD in psychology who have University teaching experience, supervised doctoral dissertations, a record of research/scholarly publications and are licensed (or license eligible) to practice psychology. Faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of research and scholarship as well as participate in program and university committees. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a psychodynamic orientation, can teach psychological assessment, psychometric theory, and/or social psychology. We are also particularly interested in applicants with successful experience in teaching, research, and/or clinical work with individuals from marginalized groups.

 

Candidates must be available to travel to 7-10 day long residential sessions held two to three times each year.
