The Board of Trustees invite applications for President of Oakland City University (OCU) in Oakland City, Indiana. OCU is a Christian faith-based learning community dedicated to the enhancement of intellectual, spiritual, physical and social development for positive leadership. The university was founded in 1885 by the General Association of the General Baptist and maintains affiliation to this day with more than 800 churches across the world. The co-educational university is centrally located between the cities of Indianapolis, Louisville, St. Louis, and Evansville in beautiful southern Indiana.

OCU consistently ranks as a top university in the Midwest for its affordability, campus safety record, its diversity and quality of academic programs in four schools with bachelor, masters, and doctoral degrees including Chapman Seminary. The university offers a modern 34-acre main campus with comprehensive facilities for academic, residential, student life, athletics, and community service. OCU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by 13 other specialized accrediting bodies. University athletics compete in the NCAA Division II and the NCCAA Division I.

OCU offers 34 programs and operates with a student faculty ratio of 12:1. The annual operating budget is $30 million and the endowment is currently $10 million.

The university seeks a President who is a visionary, experienced administrator, skilled fundraiser, is morally and spiritually grounded in Christian tradition, prepared for fiscal leadership, has knowledge of enrollment and financial aid operations, is committed to collegial decision-making, and holds appropriate academic credentials.
