Morehead State University’s Office of Student Housing is excited to open for submission the position of Hall Director. This position is tailor-made for a housing professional looking to make a difference in the lives of students and expand their professional toolbox along the way.

Responsibilities: The Hall Director is a full-time (12-month), live-in professional position which provides a good foundation for future careers in higher education administration. Hall Directors play a vital role in implementing MSU’s housing and residence education program, helping students flourish academically, personally and socially, as well as assisting in retention efforts by making connections between students and Morehead State University. Hall Directors directly supervise 10-15 undergraduate resident assistants and are supervised by an Assistant Director. This position requires enthusiasm, a commitment to excellent customer service, a commitment to create welcoming and inclusive living-learning environments, and the desire to better oneself as well as the University community by continuing to challenge self and others.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree plus student housing and residence life experience.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree preferred.
