Implements, manages and supports information systems and office computing needs to support the Division of Student Affairs. Responsible for leading efforts to automate essential internal business processes and improve service to customers, as well as analyze problems and issues of diverse scope and offer effective solutions. Analyzes customer and information systems requirements and supports the conversion to new software solutions through project coordination. Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, existing systems, user needs and technology opportunities and provides a detailed description of needs, program and system functions, and steps required to purchase, develop and/or modify software programs. Acting in this capacity, the BSA initiates and manages projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution. Will work closely with other analysts, department users, and developers to coordinate the initial information gathering, analysis, including fit/gap analysis, procurement, project scheduling, data migrations, testing, and execution phases of the project. This coordination requires the use of standard methodologies and documentation standards.

 

Requirements: Demonstrated ability to work with end users, developer,s and project managers to plan and implement software solutions. Experience with supporting vendor software solutions. Experience with gathering and analyzing requirements and proposing business process improvements and preferred solutions. Experience creating reports and providing data in a timely manner. Extensive experience with software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and internet office applications. Must be able to logically process new information and effectively solve problems. Proven strong organizational and analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training with an emphasis in computer science, or in a related field.

Salary: $58,500-$82,000/yr.
