Assistant Professor, Research Track

THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics is seeking applications for a non-tenure, research track Assistant Professor position with training and experience in cochlear implant electrophysiology research. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Speech and Hearing Science and demonstrated experience with outcomes research, including publication. Specifically, the successful candidate will have published at least 10 chapters or articles in relevant books or journals (e.g., Hearing and Research) and be listed as the first author for at least 3 of those publications. Additionally, the successful candidate will have delivered at least 15 podium presentations and be identified as the presenting author for at least seven presentations.  Highly desirable qualifications include experience participating in NIH funded research.
