Assistant Professor

THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA DEPARTMENT OF OTOLARYNGOLOGY is seeking applications for a tenure track faculty position with fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery to join a busy tertiary care practice. The position involves clinical practice, research opportunities, and resident and fellow teaching. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery, and board certified or board eligible in otolaryngology.  Highly desirable qualifications include a PhD in a relevant field (E.G., Biology), experience participating in NIH funded research, and previous experience in the VA.  Experience with EPIC EHR and UI Health Care systems is desirable.
