Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clin X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Infectious Diseases - STI and HIV Researcher

Faculty Position in Infectious Diseases: The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is seeking a full-time academic position in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the associate professor level.

Applicants must have an MD and be board certified in a relevant specialty and have fellowship-training in Sexually Transmitted Infections. Applicants must have at least five years experience in the design and conduct of clinical trials at the PI level and run multi-site clinical trial groups for the development of new treatment and diagnostic strategies in STIs and HIV. Furthermore, candidates must have expertise in translational research.

Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.

Salary ranges from $100,000 - $250,000. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
