Director of Prospect Research and Management

New Jersey Institute of Technology – one of the nation’s leading polytechnic universities, located in the University Heights section of Newark, NJ – invites applications for this critically important position in its Office of Development & Alumni Relations.

Director of Prospect Research and Management. Responsible for identifying, qualifying, researching, and analyzing leadership and major gift prospects. S/he will develop comprehensive prospect profiles and briefings, proactively identify potential new sources of support for the university, and create and oversee a moves management system for optimizing donor cultivation, engagement, solicitation, and stewardship.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, master’s degree preferred; minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising-related research efforts; advanced knowledge of research tools; knowledge of prospect research principles and practices; proficiency with the Raiser’s Edge preferred.
