Colorado State University (CSU) invites applications and encourages nominations for Professor and Department Head of Animal Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The Department Head leads a talented group of individuals, including 30 faculty members, more than 30 staff and nearly 1,000 students who work and learn in state-of-the-art facilities. The department’s base budget exceeds $4 million and total expenditures exceed $11 million. This is a 12-month appointment focused on programmatic and administrative leadership including strategic planning and implementation. The Department Head ensures excellence in scholarship, instruction, engagement, diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to achieve complex goals and objectives, which is evidence of high-level leadership, communication, and management skills.
