DESCRIPTION The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for a temporary lecturer position in Hindi-Urdu language starting Spring, 2019.

 

Qualified candidates must have native or near-native proficiency in Hindi-Urdu and English and an M.A or higher in Applied linguistics, Hindi-Urdu language/linguistics, education, language pedagogy, and/or other language education-related areas. At least three years of experience in teaching all levels of Hindi-Urdu language courses at college level is desirable. Experience in instructional technologies and development of online (hybrid) materials is highly desirable.
