Chief Corporate Learning Officer

The Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a strategic, engaging, and forward-thinking leader with a commitment to growth and excellence in executive education as the next Chief Corporate Learning Officer. Reporting to the Dean of the Business School, Erika James, the Chief Corporate Learning Officer (CLO) serves as the Executive Education chief operating executive responsible for setting a new strategic direction for the school and stewarding financial, human and capital resources with the goal of growing Emory’s Goizueta Business School presence and impact in Atlanta and globally. The CLO is a key member of the Dean’s leadership team and will lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals. The CLO is responsible for the leadership of all executive education programs and non-degree education at Goizueta, including custom executive education programs and non-degree certificate programs that enhance both the reputation and revenue profile of the school.

The Chief Corporate Learning Officer (CLO) will be a visionary and collaborative partner who understands how to navigate in both corporate and academic environments.  The CLO will have a role in the development and execution of Goizueta’s strategic plan and has responsibility for developing a business strategy to grow the impact and presence of Emory’s Goizueta School of Business in Atlanta and around the globe. The Goizueta School of Business offers a wide range of custom design and open enrollment learning solutions. The CLO will set direction by establishing and accomplishing financial as well as program quality objectives and goals; the CLO will establish quality working partnerships with external clients, faculty, senior level Goizueta administrators as well as the executive education professional team.  The CLO will partner with the Business School Chief Business, Analytics and operations Officer in all financial, technology and operational aspects of this unit to ensure there is alignment in design, outcomes and School strategy. 

 

The CLO will have the opportunity to develop a long-range strategy that will deliver a range of executive education programs in new ways that reflect the dynamism and diversity of customer needs. The focus will be to build customer relationships in Atlanta and across the Americas, expanding globally. The CLO will develop and lead a strong portfolio of mutually beneficial business relationships which enhances customer talent development and business knowledge needs.
