Director of Institutional Equity, Inclusion and Compliance/Title IX Coordinator

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Director will serve as the institutional administrator for equity, inclusion, and diversity on campus as well as Title IX compliance.  Working collaboratively with the Director of Academic Diversity and Inclusion, the Special Assistant to the President for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement, and other key senior leaders, the Director has overall institutional responsibility to provide leadership in designing and executing policies and programs that foster an inclusive environment.

As the College’s designated Title IX Coordinator, the Director will also ensure the College’s compliance efforts relating specifically to sex/gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and/or other sexual misconduct, stalking, dating, and domestic violence.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Master’s degree with five+ years of experience in a similar role.  Must have experience in a higher education setting with demonstrated experience in Human Resources, Title VII, Title IX, ADA, EEO/AA, and NYS Education Law.  Self-starter with a proven track record of designing and initiating successful institutional-wide programs and projects advancing affirmative action, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.  Marist invites individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities to apply to this new opportunity.
