Position: The TCU Department of Geological Sciences and the TCU Energy Institute invite applications for the position of non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (PPP). The position begins Fall 2019. Qualified applicants must be able to demonstrate excellence in the classroom and have relevant energy industry experience, which may include the oil and gas, geothermal, and mining industries.  The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching introductory and applicable upper level geology courses, and managing the Energy Minor and related educational opportunities within the Energy Institute. In addition, this person is expected to provide service to and promote the department, recruit undergraduate majors, and participate in professional development.
