Reporting to the Vice Dean, the Senior Associate Dean, Admissions & Financial Aid has direct oversight of both the Admissions and Financial Aid departments at Columbia Business School. This individual will work closely and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including students, alumni, faculty and staff to oversee the development of an elite pool of applicants that yields a diverse and academically superior class. The Senior Associate Dean will oversee and implement an Admissions and Financial Aid marketing strategy, oversee global outreach to candidates and will ensure that the sufficient technology/operations are in place to process applications with transparency and efficiency. This individual will strategize on methods to enhance and maximize Financial Aid funding. The Senior Associate Dean is also responsible for working with the Senior Leaders to implement and oversee and an Admissions and Financial aid assessment process that will deliver a high-quality class with wide-ranging talent and experiences.

The Senior Associate Dean will be a visionary who can manage innovation and understand the business, its trends and the mission-critical technical and functional skills needed for success.  Qualified candidates may come from a number of professional backgrounds but will have at least ten years of relevant experience in leading and managing an organization at the senior executive level. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
