The Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science Department at LaGuardia Community College is seeking highly motivated and innovative candidates to fill four tenure-track positions in Mathematics at the Assistant Professor level.

Primary responsibilities will include teaching a wide range of mathematics courses (developmental, upper level courses). The successful candidate will participate in departmental, divisional, and college-wide initiatives, provide academic advisement and student guidance, and contribute to curricula and program development. Appropriate professional development, research and scholarly activities are also expected. 

    QUALIFICATIONS 
    Ph.D. in mathematics, or a related field.
Prior teaching experience at the college level, and the ability to adapt to a wide variety of learning styles. Experience with curriculum development. Ability to teach successfully, experience in student mentorship and guidance, demonstrated scholarly achievement, and ability to collaborate with others. Experience or the ability to teach a diverse student population which includes underrepresented communities.
