The Equal Opportunity Office (EO) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus is seeking an experienced Associate Director to assist the office in carrying out its services to the campus community which will include overseeing the EO’s training program and provide training workshops for administrators, managers, supervisors and other employees; investigate grievances filed through the EO office; prepare reports on EO matters, including audits and records requests. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in higher ed administration, personnel, human resources or related fields 3-5 years experience in the investigation of unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation, including Title IX investigations; or a master’s degree in the same area and 3 years of experience in the investigation of unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation, including Title IX investigations.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience developing and delivering effective civil rights related training programs and workshops to a diverse population. 
  • Mediation skills preferred. 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000 – 78,000 commensurate with experience.
