Lesley University, widely recognized as a leader in teacher education, counseling and applied therapy programs as well as for its unique combination of art and design, liberal arts, and professional offerings, seeks a highly skilled and seasoned manager and motivating strategic leader as its next president.

Lesley has a well-deserved reputation for providing educational access to underserved populations and has developed unique offerings to advance and celebrate creative practice, critical pedagogy, and academic inquiry. Lesley graduates become dynamic, thoughtful leaders, not only in their professional lives but in their communities. Each year approximately 2,500 undergraduate and 4,000 graduate students pursue degrees on campus, off site, online, and through low-residency programs. Along with Lesley’s 90,000 alumni, these students are discovering the power of creativity to overcome obstacles, foster connections, and reveal fresh answers to the world’s problems.

Reporting to an experienced and committed Board of Trustees, the next president of Lesley University has an extraordinary opportunity to join a strong senior leadership team and engage a dedicated community of faculty, administration, staff, students, alumni, and university friends in shaping the next chapter of Lesley’s history. Lesley seeks a president with experience leading complex organizations successfully through growth or change. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of academic administration and finances, an entrepreneurial spirit, cultural competence, and a demonstrated passion for Lesley’s mission.
