Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Student Life is the chief student affairs officer and supervises all areas of student life, including housing, counseling, campus activities, health services, spiritual life and campus diversity, and athletics.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in student services administration; a master’s degree (earned doctorate preferred) in student personnel services, psychology, counseling, educational administration, or other closely related field; a commitment to women’s education and to undergraduate liberal arts and sciences education; experience with intercollegiate athletics; and the ability to be an effective team-oriented leader, capable of motivating staff and building support for admission and retention strategies with faculty, students, and other administrators.
