Visiting Position in Mathematics or Statistics

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a visiting position in either mathematics or statistics to begin August 2019. This position is potentially renewable for an additional year, based upon success in the first year. Candidates should be able to teach courses in either the mathematics or statistics curriculum regularly offered by our department. While not required, opportunities could be available for teaching courses in both disciplines. Teaching load is three courses per semester. The university offers visiting faculty members some support for conference travel.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. preferred, ABD may be considered, in the mathematical sciences (including mathematics, statistics, or a related field), a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates, and potential for excellence in teaching.
