As the associate vice president for industry partnerships, you will identify elite brands for projects with SCADpro - the university's innovation and design studio. You will also mentor department leaders and staff to ensure the team reaches measurable goals, and you will provide feedback on department leadership. Your focus on maintaining SCADpro assignments and clients will be crucial in fostering a thriving environment for our students and the university. Among other duties, you will also activate all academic departments to contribute to the solicitation of viable engagements that will generate revenue and career opportunities for students after graduation. You will also appropriately scale all SCADpro assignments and integrate feasible business strategies that lead to actionable solutions for clients.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to be flexible and adapt to new directions/initiatives. The candidate should be nimble and have advanced leadership experience. A proven ability to cultivate positive working relationships and business results with external constituents is required to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and experience, with superior attention to detail.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related discipline
- At least seven years of experience in progressively responsible leadership positions in administration and operations
- Proven ability to cultivate positive working relationships and business results with external constituents
- Excellent skills in project and time management, communication, leadership, and adaptability
