Job Description

Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure-track position) to teach courses in information technology or cybersecurity & networking; advise students; maintain a program of research/scholarship; provide meaningful service to the CIT department, campus, students, community, and university. Position begins August 2025. This position is a unique opportunity for faculty who are committed to open-access education and strong ties to the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in information technology, information systems, computing, or closely related field by date of appointment.  Candidates with a doctorate in other fields, by date of appointment, with a demonstrated record of teaching or work experience relevant to the CIT department will also be considered.  In addition to a doctorate, an appointment as an Associate Professor requires an established record of research/scholarship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a breadth of teaching experience in information technology or industry experience in information technology or related fields.
