The University of Northern Iowa’s Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing position, starting in August 2025. We are looking for candidates from a broad range of areas, and the successful candidate may be responsible for teaching courses in these specialized areas (based on interest) in addition to Marketing Principles: Marketing Analytics or Services Marketing or in our Sales Program. The department is open to candidates with a variety of research agendas, areas of specialization, and methodological approaches. We are particularly interested in candidates who have research and teaching interests in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help solve marketing problems. Especially welcome are candidates who can bridge the gap between theory and practice, bring global perspectives to their teaching and research and convey the importance of marketing in the ever-changing business environment. Candidates seeking a balance in teaching and research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment. In-person, on-campus teaching and regular office hours are required. Depending on demand and expertise, teaching responsibilities may also include a limited number of online courses. In their normal course of duties, faculty will need to exhibit course design, curriculum development, and grading student work.
