The Boonshoft School of Medicine, Department of Medical Education is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Pathology Medical Educator. The Pathology faculty position will fulfill a critical need within the Department of Medical Education at WSU BSOM. This position will be responsible for the curricular development and teaching of the pathophysiologic basis of disease and histology throughout the pre-clinical Foundations and clinical Doctoring phases of the MD program, including involvement in curricular committees and opportunity to direct a Foundations module/course.
Required:
- MD or DO degree;
- At least one year in a clinical practice;
- Completion of an accredited Pathology Residency;
- Pathology board certification or board eligibility with certification obtained within the initial period specified by the granting organization;
- Ohio Medical License or ability to obtain it.
- For Assistant Professor Rank: All of the above requirements.
- For Associate Professor Rank: All the requirements above, along with at least 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Professor with an exemplary scholarly portfolio and supervisory experience.
- For Full Professor Rank: All the requirements of Associate Professor along with at least 5 years’ experience at the Associate Professor level with an exemplary scholarly portfolio and leadership experience.
