Employee Development Content Creator

As the content creator, you must stay up to date on learning and development best practices to inform the creation and advancement of employee development resources. In this position you will create and manage social media assets, optimize and edit video content for training use, utilize graphic design tools to create custom visuals and infographics for training materials, and create human resources collateral.

Responsibilities include infusing employee development branding into instructional materials that are visually engaging, maintaining a library of instructional media assets to ensure easy access, ensuring all multimedia standards adhere to accessibility standards, and conducting design reviews and evaluations by gathering feedback for improvement. In this role you will be expected to maintain a repository of design templates and style guides that are consistent with the SCAD brand, maintain a strong commitment to design aesthetics, and work well independently and as a collaborative member of a dynamic team.

Minimum Qualifications:    
  • Master’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, motion graphics, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and exceptional work ethic to meet expectations and deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects efficiently with experience working within an innovative, fast-paced, and professional environment
  • Advanced experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud and presentation-specific software, including Keynote and/or PowerPoint
  • Teaching experience at the collegiate level and/or eligible to teach

Travel Required:
  • Less than 10%  

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
