POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of OHIO Online Undergraduate Enrollment, the Assistant Director for Re-enrollment plays a pivotal role in supporting OHIO's enrollment and retention efforts by developing, implementing and executing innovative and effective strategies that attract and support former OHIO students through all stages of the re-enrollment process. The incumbent collaborates with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the Office of the Registrar, Center for Advising, Career and Experiential Learning, Undergraduate Admissions, Regional Higher Education and other offices / units in the Division of Enrollment Management and Academic College Student Services Offices to ensure that there is cross functional alignment of services, clear and available information and necessary support leading to seamless and transparent reentry pathways and degree attainment. The Assistant Director's work will play a critical role in fulfilling OHIO's commitment to reducing barriers to education, supporting an inclusive campus community, and building a sense of belonging for all.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Outreach and Support Services: The Assistant Director for Re-enrollment will collaborate with the Director of OHIO Online Undergraduate Recruitment and across multiple stakeholders to create and implement a suite of services and recruitment plans that effectively serve previous OHIO students through the re-enrollment process for OHIO undergraduate programs. The incumbent will develop and implement programs, services and outreach initiatives aimed at increasing the number of former students that return to OHIO in alignment with institutional enrollment goals. The Assistant Director will conduct outreach with former and reenrolling students to gauge eligibility and interest for OHIO programs, communicate with reenrolling students via call campaigns, emails and other forms of communication and utilize database tools to efficiently track each interaction and the progress of all assigned students. The incumbent navigates the re-enrollment process with students from inquiry to enrollment, supporting them with correct information, forms, contacts and services to enroll in their academic program of interest. Maintains consistent contact with students, providing the highest level of customer service to all stakeholders. Has a sound understanding of transfer credit policy and practices and utilizes advising guides and other resources to illustrate to students how their external credit would reduce time towards degree completion and creates alternative pathways for students who wish to return via an OHIO regional campus or community college partner.
Process, Procedures, Operations & Communication: The Assistant Director collaborates across multiple offices and functional areas to align re-enrollment processes and procedures in order ensure a seamless reentry for returning students to OHIO. The incumbent will create thorough documentation of existing and new procedures and will make recommendations for improvements to processes as needed. The Assistant Director will collect, analyze, and interpret data related to re-enrollment trends, outcomes, and student satisfaction and best practices and generates regular reports that inform university leadership and key stakeholders about re-enrollment progress, challenges, and recommendations for process and system improvement.
The Assistant Director will collaborate closely with the Enrollment Marketing and Operations team to develop and execute targeted re-enrollment communication campaigns and plans, creating compelling messaging and materials to promote the benefits of re-enrollment and communicate important deadlines, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all external facing information is kept up to date and accurate.
Academic and Student Services Liaison: The Assistant Director serves as liaison to the Center for Advising, Career and Experiential Learning, Academic College Students Services Offices and other academic and/or administrative units to facilitate integrated recruitment, re-enrollment, credit services and academic advising functions with the goal of creating the most seamless and transparent re-enrollment process possible for students.

Bachelor's degree in hand currently or by start date.
Minimum of three years of related work experience.

Pay Rate: Based on extensive benchmarking data, the Assistant Director for Re-enrollment position is mapped to Pay Grade CA&P 15 at OHIO, with a target hiring range of $43,888-$51,377. The exact base salary for the selected candidate will be negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
