The university’s dynamic presence is driving an economic rebirth in East Greensboro, attracting businesses, creating jobs, and spurring a construction boom throughout the area. Among its own facilities projects, A&T over the past five years has opened the 150,000-square-foot Student Center, the $90 million Harold L. Martin Sr. Engineering Research and Innovation Complex, and an Extension and Research Pavilion on its 500-acre University Farm.
