Vice President for Enrollment Management and Operations for Adult and Online Education

Drury University, a private, mid-sized university that is engaged with its community and has a strong reputation for academic innovation, invites nominations and applications for the position of vice president of enrollment management and operations for adult and online education.

The vice president of enrollment management and operations (VPEMO) for adult and online education provides visionary, results-oriented leadership to the College of Continuing Professional Studies (CCPS) by providing strategic, entrepreneurial leadership with a clear growth orientation and strong administrative and fiscal management.

This is a critical leadership position with the opportunity to greatly impact the enrollment trajectory of an institution that is committed to excellence, access and community. Reporting to President Timothy Cloyd, the vice president will lead CCPS in their strategic recruitment efforts, working in partnership with key stakeholders to carry out an enrollment plan that is grounded in best practices and enhances Drury’s ability to attract, enroll and retain talented students regionally, nationally and internationally. The vice president will embrace the best use of current technology in the execution of an enrollment strategy that is forward-looking, statistically informed and continually assessed and refined.

The successful candidate will possess a track record of enrollment success; an entrepreneurial spirit; a high level of technical competence; a desire to continuously improve and grow enrollment for CCPS with a commitment to access and diversity. Additional responsibilities include executing initiatives related to the budget, recruitment, marketing and admissions in support of CCPS enrollment goals, developing strategic partnerships to develop new programs and advance recruitment efforts and identifying new programs, initiatives and sites.

The vice president for enrollment management and operations will join Drury at a pivotal moment, and enrollment for adult and online education is among the institution’s highest priorities. Reporting to the President and serving as a senior institutional leader, the vice president will lead enrollment in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies with vigor, enthusiasm and a vision for what is possible. The vice president will engage others in the vision for enrollment and galvanize the Drury community and branch campuses in support of a dynamic and effective enrollment operation, engaging others in a collective discussion about enrollment possibilities. The College of Continuing Professional Studies offers bachelor and associate degree programs primarily in the evening at Drury's main campus in Springfield and at branch campuses in the following locations: Ava, Fort Leonard Wood/St. Robert Annex, Lebanon, Monett, Rolla, West Plains and Houston, Missouri.
