Admission Representative

As the admission representative you will identify and recruit the highest quality students for SCAD by building good relationships and a network with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni. In this role you will provide timely follow-up communications with prospective students to inform them about application requirements and the admission process, answer questions, and provide individualized attention. Responsibilities include utilizing the university's tools to maximize outreach efforts for all campus locations, covering Liveperson and call center shifts, assisting with on-campus events and special events, and staying up to date on university policies and programs of study.

In this position you will take an active role in admission training by staying up to date with college policies, events, accolades and programs of study and developing a strong partnership with admission advisers to involve them in recruitment activities. You will be expected to provide feedback and ideas to admission leadership regularly and maintain flexibility throughout the recruitment year to allow for institutional and personal growth.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills


  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle report and/or SCAD’s insurance and driving policy


  • Ability to travel as needed by car or plane


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office proficiency


  • SCAD experience


Certificates, Licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license


Travel:

  • 10% to 20%


Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
