As the admission assistant, you will be responsible for managing the central phone line for the entire university, directing calls to appropriate staff, and providing excellent customer service. In this role you will manage the admission’s email account; assist with mailing out acceptance, scholarship, and deposit paid letters daily; and manage the inventory of mailing supplies. Responsibilities extend to managing all aspects of university mail, maintaining the CRM database with accurate records, indexing acceptance and scholarship letters, and providing administrative support for special initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in scheduled activities for SCAD DAYS, special events, and evening or weekend work as requested.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive admission and institutional knowledge to best assess and respond to general information inquiries about many departments and continue to keep their knowledge current. This also includes, but is not limited to, maintaining accurate information on department structures and contacts.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Computer and organization skills required to provide administrative support
