Tenured Associate or Full Professor of Accounting

The Krannert School of Management (http://www.krannert.purdue.edu/) invites applicants for one appointment at either the tenured associate or full professor level in accounting to begin August 2019.   Qualified candidates must have:

  • Earned a Ph.D. in accounting, business, or closely-related field and must have a strong record (commensurate with rank) of publishing in premier accounting or business journals. 
  • Record of excellence in teaching.
  • Evidence of a willingness and ability to contribute to the profession, Krannert and Purdue University. 

The successful candidate will teach financial, auditing or tax accounting to upper-division undergraduate and/or graduate students, participate in doctoral student instruction, conduct research (either empirical or analytical) in areas of financial, tax or related areas, and participate in other school activities.  Opportunities to teach in the executive program may also be available.

Applications will be reviewed beginning October 10, 2018, and continue until the position is filled.  Applications should include a CV, representative research output, and evidence of teaching ability.  Applicants should also be prepared to provide at least three letters of reference.  A background check will be required for employment in this position.
