Assistant Director of Enrollment - International

As the assistant director of enrollment, you will be responsible for processing materials for admission and scholarship evaluation, preparing student files for review, and acting as a first reader and advocate for each application. Similarly, you will evaluate transcripts, assess financial documents required for I-20 form issuance, and accurately maintain the management systems to record and track applicant documents and contacts. In this position, you will be expected to follow up with students on application completion to help resolve issues and encourage payment of matriculation and housing reservations promptly. As the assistant director, you will act as a host for in-person and virtual enrollment events, working in collaboration with other departments to flawlessly execute them.

Responsibilities of the assistant director include updating caseload reports monthly, building relationships with schools and universities to spread awareness of SCAD in the assigned region, and coordinating travel to top schools and other organizations deemed of interest. In this role, it is crucial that you deliver creative classroom presentations that engage students and encourage them to apply, enter travel information in Salesforce, and maintain a travel calendar. At in-person events, you may be asked to provide college tours and to collaborate with a team to plan and host educator retreats. Additional responsibilities of the assistant director of enrollment include covering LiveAgent shifts; attending required trainings; staying up to date with university events, accolades, and programs of study; mentoring new staff; and monitoring meeting minutes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to meet enrollment goals
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in international and domestic advising
  • Knowledge of FAFSA requirements and processes

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport

Travel Required:
  • Over 50%

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
