As the executive creative director, you will be in charge of managing all executive directors and coordinating with departments while overseeing all branded content and collaborating frequently with key staff to determine priorities and set goals. Responsibilities in this role include directing creative initiatives and products that affect the image of the university in an international market, learning and incorporating the unique selling points of the SCAD brand into visual communication concepts, and fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutually beneficial productivity. You will lead the senior art directors to support the creative services team in multiple areas and source inspiration from up-to-date trends in art, fashion, and design, promoting purposeful, thoughtful designs.
As needed, you will assist with the development of physical and digital collateral to support the university's creative initiatives across all university locations and perform these same duties in support of SCAD University Press book projects. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on all aspects of the operation; determining budgets; approving departmental needs; and leading projects that relate to and involve multiple departments. In this position you will also be expected to report progress on departmental development.

Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree with at least 10 years of related experience
- Proven record of innovating new processes in creative direction and implementing design systems to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Ability to streamline workflow and maintaining exceptional design results and brand standards
- Ability to travel to all SCAD locations
- Previous experience in print and digital design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Previous experience in publishing

- Valid driver’s license
