As the global brand marketing manager, you must be able to develop marketing strategies, innovative customer experiences, and recruitment opportunities for SCAD worldwide. In this position you will create strategies for and manage SCAD's WeChat channel, relying on strong cross-functional relationships and keen brand and cultural awareness. In partnership with the associate director of international marketing, you will build and maintain content calendars for the SCAD Global and APAC social channels and support work-study management and hiring. Responsibilities include daily project tracking; assisting with creating marketing collateral in French, Korean, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese; and optimizing content trends, types, platforms, and technologies through competitive analysis and research.
As the marketing manager, you will assist in managing the SCAD Chinese Microsite, collaborate with internal teams' generation assets and translation, and work with external agencies to support asset creation and execution for international marketing campaigns. You will develop strategies and innovative activations to drive SCAD recruitment, admission, retention, reputations, and rankings for international marketing efforts and contribute to SCAD's marketing plan by updating social strategy guidelines. In this position you will be expected to work with social insights tools to review content to identify learnings and turn them into action plans for international marketing efforts. Additionally, you will support the social marketing manager and associate director of international marketing with publishing paid social ad campaigns for SCAD social media.
The ideal candidate will be able to find inspiration to create customer engagement initiatives that are both strategic and technical. This is a highly collaborative position involving work with internal and external partners to drive a communication and activation cadence that delivers the 360-marketing strategy and relevant brand image objectives. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required with other languages being a strong plus. Ideally, the candidate must have an appreciation and understanding of luxury brand management with experience presenting to senior management and assembling executive-level communications. They should always maintain a professional appearance, present a willingness to learn, and have a content creator personality with an eye for beautiful things and great stories.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, or a related field with at least three years of professional experience
- Experience with content creation for a consumer brand, WeChat, and paid advertising
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a strong ability to write and tell stories
- A portfolio showing high-impact social media campaigns and experience managing external agencies and partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe CreativeSuite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field with at least two years of experience in retail, special events, or a related field
- Proven ability in client management in a DTC, B2B, or B2C environment
