ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRIES MANAGEMENT
WESTMINSTER COLLEGE OF THE ARTS OF RIDER UNIVERSITY, through its School of Fine and Performing Arts (SFPA), announces an opening for a full-time, tenure track appointment in Arts and Entertainment Industries Management at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2019 on the University’s Lawrenceville campus.
Rider University seeks candidates for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position within the Arts and Entertainment Industries Management program of the School of Fine and Performing Arts. The successful candidate will hold a terminal degree and/or demonstrate equivalent, extensive management experience in multiple aspects of arts and/or entertainment industries. Of particular interest is field experience in licensing, promoting, producing and/or artist development and management in one or more arts & entertainment disciplines. This position will collaborate closely with faculty within the program and school to promote and grow the Arts and Entertainment Industries Management degree, particularly in regard to for-profit entertainment.
As a member of the Department of Fine Arts, the candidate will be expected to play an important part in the ongoing development of our already dynamic programs in the School of Fine and Performing Arts, to advise and mentor students, serve on committees, and to aid in recruitment.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the mentoring and advising of students, service to the department, college and university, and be active professionally.
