As the associate director and coach, you will manage the daily operations of SCADamp, implement best practices, and ensure the alignment of initiatives to the approved SCAD quality enhancement plan. In addition to providing leadership to the studio team, this position offers out-of-class workshops, provides one-on-one and small group coaching sessions, and develops presentation and workshop materials that supplement these SCADamp offerings. All SCADamp coaches also provide professional presentation coaching to faculty, staff, and university leaders and support the university community through a variety of training and professional development programs.
In this position you will ensure the coaching team maintains accurate and timely data submission, create and deliver workshops, and support university initiatives. As the associate director you will engage studio guests to support special events, support external program offerings, and serve as an ambassador for SCADamp. In collaboration with the SCADamp director, the associate director establishes, develops, and leads SCADamp programming and models professional leadership, directly contributing to the achievement of the university's mission, vision, and values through day-to-day operational and long-term strategic actions.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with preference in communications or related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, organization, critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage projects efficiently and adapt quickly with experience in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a design mindset with the ability to cultivate positive working relationships
- Experience communicating with diverse audiences and with presentation-specific software including PowerPoint, Keynote, and Canva
