Job Summary:
The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University (CSU) is seeking applications for one full-time position of Assistant College Lecturer. Start date: August 19, 2024. CSU is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. Teach four courses per semester at the graduate and undergraduate levels at on-campus and off-campus locations and online. Courses are in the area of Statistics, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Participate in department, college, university, and professional service activities.
The department has six full-time faculty members and offers courses at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. The department offers majors within the undergraduate and doctoral programs.
The Monte Ahuja College of Business has over 70 full-time faculty members, with an enrollment of over 3,000 students. All programs are accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels by the AACSB.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management or a related discipline;
- Experience in teaching statistics, operations management and/or supply chain management courses;
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ABD or Doctoral degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field;
- Documented excellence in teaching;
- Professional certification (e.g., APICS, ISM, or CSCMP);
- Relevant industry experience.
