VISITING PROFESSOR POSITION IN CHEMISTRY
The Department of Natural Sciences of Pitzer and Scripps Colleges
The Chemistry Program of Scripps and Pitzer Colleges seeks to hire a visiting professor to teach in our biochemistry and general chemistry courses. The position would begin in August 2024. Opportunities to direct undergraduate research projects are also possible. This position is a full-time, one-year appointment with the potential for renewal. Rank will be either Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Professor, depending on experience. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, or affiliated field before starting the position; prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The salary for this position will range from $73,000-$87,000 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
