Assistant/Associate/Professor (Lecturer) in Operations & Supply Chain Management (Campus Faculty)

The Operations and Information Systems (OIS) department in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah seeks candidates for a fulltime career-line faculty (lecturer) position in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Depending on education and experience, lecturers can hold the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. A graduate degree is required for the position, and a PhD is preferred, but may be substituted by relevant work experience. Areas where expertise is desired include (but are not limited to) operations management, supply chain management, service operations, product management, and healthcare management.
 

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to teach courses in OSC or related fields at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additional service responsibilities can include mentoring student clubs, managing OSC related competitions, and organizing events for promoting the OSC major. Subsequently, the role may evolve to include leadership responsibilities in OSC programs. Depending on experience and education level, the candidate may also be expected to conduct original research and serve on various departmental and college committees. Faculty members at the David Eccles School are highly research active and well networked in academia and industry. Opportunities to collaborate in research studies and practice-oriented student projects are abundant.
