Assistant Professor of Philosophy

WHEATON COLLEGE (IL) seeks candidates for a tenure-track position in philosophy, beginning August 2019, at the rank of assistant professor. AOS: Open with a preference for social and political philosophy. AOC: Social and political philosophy (including studies in race and/or gender), and at least one of the following: ethics (including applied ethics), aesthetics, non-Western.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. completed by the time of employment, evidence of outstanding teaching, a proven commitment to research and scholarship, and a genuine commitment to the liberal arts. We will begin considering applications September 28, 2018 and continue until the position is filled.
